Germany is clearly missing him. Great composure and great leader. In 2014 world cup, He made sure if any team wants to score Vs Germany, then they have to beat him. That's what his astonishing dedication. I think those (especially the Germans) who watched 2014 final Vs Argentina, will never forget his contribution in that match winning performance. What a dedicated player. If Germany finds player like him and like Klose, then surely can win world cup again.

Schweinsteiger has never really impressed me. Great player at his prime and very well rounded but i can not help but to think that part of his acclaim stems from him becoming world class in his mature years after spending most of his younger years as a good player full of promise. He reminds me of De Rossi but De Rossi while more precocious was ultimately not as good as a player as his development stalled when he was 25 because of his family issues and the toxic environment surrounding the team.
