I don’t know much about soccer but I just watched Switzerland vs Spain Euro quarterfinal. MAN WAS HE GOOD. He was the reason it ended at 1-1 not 1-6.

I am following Bundesliga since 2015 and this guy has been one of the most consistent performers in the Bundesliga he's underrated fact is that his save percentage hasn't dropped less than 75% yesterday's performance was a right proof of his qualities and he's getting the recognition he deserves

Most impressive about Sommer is his athleticism. He is really short for a goalkeeper to start with, but then he goes down even deeper before shots. This allows him to use his explosivity to get to the ball. I have never seen this in any other keeper. This is especially true in 1v1s; he covers less than half the goal vertically with his body when the shot is taken
