As a Bayern fan, I’ve got to give it to Alonso and Leverkusen. For every single game they’ve played, it felt like they always kept pushing and attacking to score no matter the circumstances. I think Leverkusen definitely deserves the title, what a season for them.

Wirtz would be ideal player to replace modric. I love watching wirtz. He's like another version of pedri. Wirtz has everything in his games. His tactic is similar to Capello's when he won Serie A with Roma and Conte's when he won EPL with Chelsea, which were found out in their next seasons. Tactics come and go like hairstyles, particularly the attacking wingback tactics

You haven't been paying attention, have you? His tactics are more like Guardiola's than Conte's or Capello's. Leverkusen is all about attacking, keeping the ball, and trying to dominate every part of the match. That's Pep's way lol. And just like Pep, Xabi is going to make the Bundesliga one-sided. I feel bad for Kane though..

@@containedhurricaneyou are so wrong. I've watched at least 90% of City's and Leverkusen's games this season and I can tell you their use of wingbacks is all about reading the opposition. If it's not clicking, both coaches aren't afraid to mix it up. Guardiola even gave wingbacks a shot midway through the season, but it backfired big time with City leaking goals left and right, so he quickly switched gears. But here's the real deal about these two coaches-they're masters of game-changing moves from the bench. It's a quality even top coaches like Conte and Capello can't match. Guardiola and Xabi have this knack for sniffing out problems and fixing them with just one substitution. That's why Leverkusen often strikes late in the game. And come on, Guardiola's track record speaks for itself, right? So, no need to fret. Alonso is not some rigid coach who's gonna get figured out easily. He's all about staying flexible and finding new solutions. That's actually one of the reasons he's sticking around-to experiment with more tactics.

Last season, Stones positionally interchanged between CB and DM positions. The ones who keep whipping crosses are Man City's wingers, which are Grealish, Doku, Foden, Silva and Bobb
