On the 9th of May, Bundesliga legend Jupp Heynckes turns 70! This legend of the world game won 7 Bundesliga titles as a player and coach as well as being the first to lead a team to the treble in Germany. As a player he was one of the most prolific goalscorers the league has ever had and as a coach his will to win was equally as strong. He is loved across the league, but especially at Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayern München - Happy Birthday Jupp! Here are his Top 10 Bundesliga moments.

Give guardiola time, there is nothing wrong with your team and coach. Barcelona this season were just too good, I feel sorry for you, you might have been in the final if you weren't to face barca. Give guardiola time and support him, he will deliver. -barca fan. VISCA EL BARCA

Wow what a career, and even as a die hard madridista I'm willing to admit that Heynckes's treble winning Bayern team was one of, if not, the greatest side of all time.

The treble winning side was the best team I've ever watched, the quality of our attacks and comebacks and our defending and gk made the club unbeatable, we only lost 1 game in all competitions.

Just talking about Yesterday's UCL Semi Finals Schweinsteiger clearly has a Perfect record against Messi during those one on one duels each time they met (4-0 for Germany against Argentina in 2010 WC,4-0 for Bayern against Barca in 2013 and 1-0 for Germany in the WC Final) and Pep be like,"Okay,i will play him in the CAM role and play Alons(l)o(w) in the CDM so that the latter can slip up,commit Fouls and provide countless back passes which are absolutely of no use". WTF Pep ? Bayern needs to get rid of him and appoint a German Manager like Heynckes who has a straighter vision than the man from Catalonia

Friction Pep should have instead developed Rode,That guy is a quality player,he impressed me each time he was on the field.Playing him alongside Thiago with Schweinsteiger shielding the Defence would be more perfect Combination instead of this disastrous one.

I'm literally shocked... I saw the big different between Heynkes and Gardiola, I'm missing the days when Jupp Heynkes Coached bayern ;( He was the perfect coach to bayern, he won nearly won everything... I miss him so much ;(((((

best coach in my opinion, bayern 2013 was the best team in football history along side spain 2008-2010, beating barca 7-0 (ag) and winning a treble.

Am I the only one that thinks that Mourinho is better than Guardiolla (if they coached Bayern) Mourinho got the winning mentality I like. For: when his team in winning 1-0 and there are 5 minutes left, he will just park the bus. Guardiolla: 15 minutes left on the clock and it is 0-0, if the game ended 0-0 then Bayern were going to be tge favorites for the second leg, but instead of parking the bus he goes all out attack.

It baffles me when a manager plays the best right back in the world in midfield against the best attacking team in the world. I defended pep against that sorry excuse of performance against Madrid, then the terrible shell shocked performance 1st leg vs Porto. Im done defending Pep. How do you not park the bus after conceding the first goal? Why keep playing Alonso and Schweinsteiger partnership when it doesnt work?The players panicked and it hurt us even more and Pep let it happen. When pep joined Bayern he said he would adjust to the players, but im still waiting for that to happen.
