They need to stop hiring medicore managers and hire a really good one like Klopp, the last manager to win the title. They have good players but just don't have a good manager for crucial matches and situations like this. Game management was all wrong in this match. Players were all really sluggish and no one looked like they wanted to win. Haller shouldn't have took the penalty because he has never taken one for Dortmund before. Captain should have stepped in to intervene and insist that Emre Can take it instead. Not much of tactics on display. Just shows the inexperience of Terzic. It's pretty much just hoofing the ball into the box and hope something sticks for 90 minutes. Mainz had so many good opportunities to score more and frankly it could have ended a lot more worse for Dortmund. I'm not even a Dortmund fan but the way they played is just infuriating to watch. They don't deserve to win anything when they play like that. By the way, they also collapsed against 12th-placed Chelsea in the Champions League this season.

This is one of the things that separates good managers from mediocre managers. Dortmund has many good players and they should be winning stuff with the right management.

The common theme all season and most seasons in the Bundesliga is that the other teams never capitalise on chances to better Bayern. This season Leipzig, Union Berlin, Dortmund all had numerous chances throughout the season and they all bottled it by either drawing or losing to lesser teams when Bayern had dropped points.

Borussia Dortmund é uma piada. Time ruim. Aqui no Brasil a gente adotou o Dortmund como símbolo do fracasso. Ainda tem gente comparando o Arsenal e o Tottenham a essa porcaria. O problema de Arsenal e Tottenham é que além de a Premier legue ser um campeonato disputado e de existir um Manchester city de Guardiola, tbm é uma liga bastante disputada financeiramente. Todos se equiparam. Na bundesliga que na minha opinião é a pior liga europeia. Só tem uma equipe. E mesmo quando essa equipe não está bem. Ela ganha o campeonato nacional com muita facilidade, no caso (Bayern). O campeonato alemão é uma merda! Seeing Reus sad literally gives me depression. Oh man he deserved it so much, he gave this club so much but they are heredity bottlers, home advantage against a team who lost 4 consecutive games and they still lost no excuse for this they don't have hunger for the title, they don't deserve their amazing fans and they don't deserve Reus 💔

Absolutely heartbroken right now, but it is what it is. I could feel the nerves of the players while I was at home watching the game, 200km away. They were almost paralyzed by the nerves and falling 0-2 behind is really tough in moments like that. Players like Brandt, Malen who were in top shape last games just couldn't bring it today. I don't know why Seb were to take that penalty. It would've been an absolute fairytale if he would've scored, but to take your first penalty for your new club in such a decisive moment.. Could've left it to Can honestly. But the second half of the season gave a lot of hope for next season. Immer BvB! Echte liebe!

Bayern didn't win the Bundesliga, Dortmund lost the Bundesliga and let Bayern take it. It was theirs to win and they blew it. What a shame because the Bundesliga had become quite stale at the top of the table for a number of years now and this is the most exciting it's been in a while.
