Those kicks are are bit "fire and forget". They usually miss but the shock value is so great that the goalkeeper can't handle few of those which are on target.

Number 1 deflected, but it was powerful direct from a pacy corner. The second one he just knocked it, hooked it over his head and it looped in. Nice goal though. I prefer bicycle kicks to rip the net

N°2 Derdiyok's was the really n°1. And for me, it was the really puskas from this year and not the Neymar's goal. The bicycle kick from Rooney against M.City was incredible too on this year, I can't understand that Neymar won the price, for dribbling angainst worst defenders and to shot a normal finish. Derbiyok has made a so fantastic action and ending. Thiago Alcantara's acrobatic goal against Stuttgart this year can be too in this top 10, it was really worldclass finish. Es gibt nicht Späktakulärer als Deutsches Fussball Bundesliga.

I think theres a solid difference between scissor kicks and bicycle kicks... well over head and bicycle is pretty much the same.

A scorpion kick is essentially when you lay yourself out as if going for a diving header, and then bend your knee to swing your heel up to hit the ball.
