Alphonso Davies' story is no ordinary one. Born in Ghana, brought up in Canada and now a Bundesliga star. At just 15, Davies signed his first professional contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps and played in the MLS. His talent was spotted early on and he was part of the Canadian team that recorded a historic first victory over the USA in 34 years. In the Bundesliga, he's shown since his move to FC Bayern München in 2019 that he has the qualities and the potential to become one of the best full-backs in the world. Hey I’m a Liberian from Liberia and was also a refugee in (Ghana )Buduburam camp . I was able to meet some of Alphonso family members and I’m a friend to his cousin. So I’m actually proud to see him success, each time I get to see him play I always by like wow , that’s my bro right there. And tears always seems to come from my eyes . To my bro, I will say keeping pushing and keep working hard till you get to the very top🙏 we love you here in Liberia ❤️
