After reading Lahm's autobiography I found him kinda sleazy. I don't think it's ok to criticize your former coaches so publicly, especialy if you're the captain. Also the way he wanted to be named permanent captain after Ballack missed the WC 2010. I know Ballack never played for Germany again, but he couldn't have known that at the time.

My favourite moment would be the time he was tackled by a Stuttgart player who was about to get a red and while he never did convince the ref, Schweini very animatedly debated with the referee to keep the Stuttgart player on the pitch. Bastian isn't just an amazing player, but also an incredibly classy and fairplay player, and for that, he earns all my respect.

If bastian does leave this season i wish him nothing but the best! Growing up he was a big influence while i was playing football would be nice to see him retire with bayerns colors but no matter what he'll always be remembered as one of the best and a true legend!

I cant believe Schweini will be leaving us at some point in the next couple of years. Hes my favourite (how do you say fussball in english?) player by far. Since he played his first game at bayern i knew he would grow up to be a champion.
