The chances of scoring from a penalty are very high, but the goalkeeper always has a say in it. In 2019/20, Bundesliga shot-stoppers were at their best yet again. The likes of Manuel Neuer and Yann Sommer showed their incredible talents by keeping out several spot-kicks throughout the campaign. We have picked out the Top 10 penalty saves of the 2019/20 season. As much as I want to agree, this is not true. In fact we can never know who really is the best keeper in the world. You can argue that Neuer is the best, or Alisson, or Oblak but there will never be a definite answer

K4 Josiah I don’t see how saying alisson is the best is ridiculous when he has played he has produced performances that fully justify him having that kind of praise given to him, for me Oblak is the best keeper in the world, I also don’t think passing is something that should be a positive or negative to a keeper as it isn’t something that it is essential to a goalkeeper it can be helpful dependant on the role they play in the team but the primary responsibility of a goalkeeper is to stop the opponent scoring and for me Oblak is the best at that.

Okay everyone has their own opinion on who the best keeper in the world is. Every world class keeper has something to prove that he is the best. The best keeper in the world is quite subjective to each person. For example, many people agree that Lev Yashin is the greatest keeper of all time, but some people argue that back then the quality of forwards were not as good so it would have been easier for Yashin. No one can have a definite answer to who the best keeper in the world is

I was so surprised at the size of the goal when I first saw the actual pitch, since then I have always been baffled as to how they reach the ball. Not at all as easy as they make it look.

The goal is 7.32m wide. On average an GK is 1.8m tall and you usually have to stand in the middle of the goal so the space you have to cover on both sides is 3.66m
