I don't think Ribery's volley was the best. Lizarazu, Matthäus, Vieirinha, and Sam all had nicer strikes.

In my opinion the worst one was the Ribery strike, it should have been #10. The best one was Sidney Sam in my opinion

Many of the other volleys were technically much more difficult than Ribery's. Especially the Lothar Matheus one. The commentator was spot on, one of the most difficult techniques but he makes it look so easy.

For me Ribery's shot stayed struck it was a bullet strike that he had to adjust to and hit with his weaker foot and off a cross. I think its a worthy candidate for number one but they were all really nice especially Vierhna's

Ribery deserved number one. That was his weaker foot. Robben would dream to even pass with such accuracy on his right foot and i dont think either messi or ronaldo scored a goal like that with their weak foot.

The most difficult to score is not necessarily the most spectacular. Also, some of the other volleys in the video were harder to score than Ribery's. He shouldn't get number 1 just because it's his weak foot.

I think Vierinha, Lizarazu and Matthäus' volleys were better than Riberys. No discredit to Ribery, it was awesome, but the others were better placed and more spectacular imo.
