Xabi was amazing in his first few weeks in the Bundesliga. Deteriorated once he got used to the players and the style of play. Xhaka on the other hand, is very consistent and plays a very important role in Gladbach's games

Alonso is my favourite as he comes from my homeland the Basque Country and played for my team Real Sociedad where he started as a footballer. One of the finest Basque players ever if not the finest.

+ItsRehzy Well, they're not the same kind of player. Wilshere is a natural CAM, and is probably good to have as backup/rotation for Özil, since we don't really have other options. And I could see how it would be beneficial to have Xhakas passing skills in the matches where Özil is being rested and Wilshere gets a chance.

Xhaka "Chaka" Khan is good but Alonso is a different kind of a beast. He was a beast when playing for Liverpool, Real Madrid and now Bayern and don't forget the Spanish National Team. Xhaka Xhaka has room do grow and get better but as of now you can't compare him to someone who was the freaking man on 3 of the biggest and best clubs in footballing history
