Man he was in 3rd polish division in Haalands age. When he was 22 he made a transfer from 1rd polish league to Bundesliga. He was benched hella lot and he still made it to the top

His career is full of difficult moments like when his father passed away, when he got injured at the age of 19 I think and his club gave up on him, when he joined Dortmund and everyone was laughing that he cannot score... There were many people thinking Bayern is too good for him... Yet he overcame all of that and became the best striker... A story worthy of a film adaptation.

Once he was compared with a tree by his under 19 coach. Now he's one of the greatest strikers of all time. People run after either Ronaldo or Messi, no doubt they deserve it but Lewandowski's success tells us, when you got nothing but you have dreams to fulfill, the entire humanity will fall at your feet. One day, for sure.

Lewandowski scores 40 goals in 28 games, that's magnificent. You cannot comparing this to Gerd who achieve same number of goals but in 8 games more than Lewandowski

It's just a pure madness! I remember BVB supporters making fun of him at the very beginning... He was no wonder kid that all journalists were talking about. Even back in PL people were depreciating his skills in favor of Shinji Kagawa who was considered a BVB diamond. Yet, through his titanic work and strong will he made it to the top at the age of 32. Incredible, Robert.
